Adobe is in the AIR

In order to get the best of the desktop combined with the best of the web, Adobe released AIR (codename: Apollo). Adobe AIR lets developers use their existing web development skills in HTML, AJAX, Flash and Flex to build and deploy rich Internet applications to the desktop. And with only a runtime to have installed on your system to run Adobe AIR applications, your new ‘desktop’-application can now run on any system like Windows, Mac and Linux.
